The simplicity of black and white gets me every time. This blazer has been a great statement piece that I find myself reaching for when I feel like standing out.  Can you really go wrong with a great blazer, a slouchy t-shirt and an awesome pair of jeans?  Speaking of jeans, say hello to my second pair of Old Navy Diva skinny jeans.  Some how this pair fits differently then my white pair but we all know Old Navy is not known for consistent sizing.

Instead of reaching for my usual gold accessories I opted for my new blue faceted necklace from Wrist Soirée.  This beauty is the perfect standout piece for this classic outfit.

  1. Looking good!!! Love that blazer!! Every pair of Old Navy jeans/pants that I have fit differently. I still love them though 🙂

  2. I MUST get a pair of wedges like that! I have a striped blazer which I've never worn! I need to do so.

making the decision to have kids is not an easy one. I remember being in the same space in my thirties. I did NOT want kids. However, when I turned 33 something changed. Every where I looked I saw mommies and babies. Something just clicked. To make a long story short, I had my one and only child at 36 and she is the best thing that every happened to me. I just don't want you to close that door before you cover all aspects. I will not tell you that every day is peaches and cream. But there is nothing like me having a bad day and my daughter puts her arms around me and says it's over and it will be okay because i'm home with her and daddy!
