time no post! Last week's weather was terrible thanks to Sandy. Florida
didn't get a direct hit but I wasn't too keen on venturing out in inclement
weather just to take outfit pictures. I am happy to report its back to
sunshine and blues skies in Miami with a little chill in the air! I seriously
get excited for any cool day we have. Yesterday I pulled out my new faux
leather peplum jacket I picked up from Forever 21 in Sept. I went back
and forth with myself about purchasing it but finally decided to get it because
the fit was amazing thanks to the underarms being stretch knit. I usually
have a hard time fitting into anything long sleeved from Forever 21 so this was
a huge score for me.
Of
course no outfit would be complete without my signature stripes and pop of
color. I picked up this beautiful skirt from Macy's a few weeks ago when
they were having a sale. I am telling you guys now I am going to order
every color. Anyone looking for a great basic skirt this one is a winner!
It runs true to size and is lined. I normally hate anything lined because
the lining always seems to be a size smaller than the actual garment. Not
the case here I didn't have any problems with bunching at all. I probably
could have thrown on a pair of patterned stocking because I was cold but that
might have been over kill.
