The Day After...

I hope everyone had a great holiday and had the opportunity to spend it with their loved ones.  Today I am relaxing, no stores or malls for me!   

I had a fantastic Christmas! I was up at 7am opening my gifts like I was a kid, lol.  But before I get in to that I also participated in a blogger secret Santa.  I was sooooo excited when I saw my gift waiting for me at my door Friday evening.  I got even more excited when I realized it was from Kerissa of A Diva Moms Journey! I completely forgot I wanted to wait until Christmas to open my gift and tore right into it, like a kid.  For such a little box it had lots of goodies inside! 

I love everything and I already used the Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner! Both products have amazing slip, my hair detangled easily afterwards and the smell is amazing.  Thank you so much Kerissa :)

Its here aren't you excited! It's Friday! Okay, that was corny, but I have had a heck of a week.  I am ready for the weekend so I can relax and get some retail therapy in with my blogger buddy Ashley.  So the semester is over and you guys know I talk about school a lot and how important it is to me.  So here are my grades:  Earth Science - B, Finance for Non-financial managers - B, Capstone Project - A, Internship - A.  The grades officially post at 12am Sunday morning.  Yes I plan to stay up to see them; I am a geek like that, lol.  Enough school talk until next semester!

I am not really into flares at all; I prefer straight legs, skinny or wide leg jeans/pants.  Last, weekend I was up and out early because my car needed to be serviced.  On my way back home I decided to stop into Old Navy.  It was perfect, the store had just opened and it was nice and quiet.  I was able to take my time and look through ALL the clearance and sales racks.  I found several pieces I liked but only ended up getting a few things, including these flares for $8.99.  I figured for that price I should have at least one pair.  I swear Old Navy pants/jeans can be all over the place, but these are true to size.  The length is perfect and they fit my waist.  I have already gotten my money’s worth; this is my third time wearing them this week!

Hey! I missed you guys; I have been busy getting ready for finals and class presentations! Of the four classes I am taking I know for sure I have two A's so far.  Next week Monday is my finance final and Wednesday is my Earth science final.  Then I can relax and celebrate!  It's just me and my doggie and these classes keep my busy.  I take my hat off to anyone that has a family to take care of, works full time and school still makes time for school, you guys rock!

I love these pink pants from Oldnavy, these were purchased during the 30% off sale they had back in Oct.  I wish they came in more colors because I paid less than $10 for these fancy pants.  I am actually wearing Oldnavy head to toe expect my shoes; which I hadn't realized until I got ready to take my pictures.  Oldnavy really has stepped it up, their nicer pieces are little pricier but I just wait for them to go on clearance!  My pictures could have been sooooo much better but I rushed through them because my battery was dying.  Happy Friday!
