However, I am pissed at the fact there may be government shutdown tonight at 12am. I am even more upset at the fact at that Congress will still get paid if the government does shut down.
I know this is out of left field considering this is a fashion blog. I am a veteran and it angers me that my fellow shipmates and soldiers will not get paid if this happens. I mean really...the entire budget is being held up because of planned parenthood and EPA regulations! Arrrrrrggggggghhhhh...what is really going on in America. Doesn't anyone care that this will effect 800,000 people. Okay I'm done ranting, I hope this thing gets resolved today.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...I plan on do nothing all weekend, expect go to the mall (returns only) and couch surf...reruns of True Blood and Sex and the City!

Thanks Tyesha =)
I know exactly what you mean and your so right. I can relate as well b/c my hubby is in the military and I also work for the government as well. It's a bunch of BS if you ask me and everyone wants to point blame at Obama..it's not just one person's fault.
Anyhooo..I'm loving this look the red heels was the perfect pop to this chic and casual look. You look great!!!
Positive note - this is a great casual look. Love the pop of red with the shoes also.
Neg. note - the possibility of the shutdown is complete BS, especially given the issues that are bogging it down right now. I hope for all involved they will figure out a resolution in the next hour so we can avoid the stupidity of this situation.
Yes they will but it is still an inconvenience
Yeah, they will be paid retroactively, but still. It's like really, come on! SMH.
Wow... that's devastating news! I'm going to have to check with my husband asap. I wonder if they'll retro the pay anyone misses.
Yes it would, from what my other friends are saying their LES's are only showing half of their pay for April 15th.
My husband is active duty... will that affect him?
