Flower Power
Wednesday, December 22, 2010
This is another Target original that I purchased back in 2006 and regardless of how many times I wear it I get tons of compliments. I'm not big on floral at all but I love this dress! The wrap style accentuates my waist and gives my boobies a lil extra boost =). This is absolutely a feel good outfit for me. It can always brighten my mood when I am feeling blah...

I really think I may be addicted to Leopard, every time I add a new leopard item to my closet I think of Olivia from Jerseylicious, but I'm not that bad...yet.
This fun leopard print cardigan is from the little girls section (yes I shop in the little girls section occasionally) at Target. As soon as it caught my eye I knew that I needed it. The pink accents made it stand out to me without being over the top. I was worried it would be to matchy if I paired it with my magenta pumps but it added a pop of color without being too much.
My other standout item is the gold metallic belt I purchased from Red, White and Blue thrift store. It is in perfect condition beside the scratches, which aren't noticeable at first glance. This item will be in heavy rotation =).
I also curled my hair...the jury is still out on this...

Chunky Knits
Thursday, December 16, 2010
Anyone else have Christmas burnout yet? I have a pile of gifts that need to be wrapped and mailed. I still have a few items I need to pick up, that means I have to face the shopping savages at the mall, lol. I also have to pick up things I need for an upcoming trip. Well at least my last day of class was yesterday so I can breathe easy until Jan.

I See Spots
Tuesday, December 14, 2010
However, the best part of the colder weather, I get to wear my patterned tights, scarfs and boots! I have the hardest time finding boots that fit my 17" calves. I found several sites that specialized in wide calf boots but I couldn't see spending all that cash for something I would only wear a few times a year. I fell in love with these Steve Madden boots and knew they would be perfect, but I wasn't feeling the price. The barginista in me came out and I scoured the internet for a suitable replacement. I found the boots I have on here and also got an additional 20% off! The pictures don't do them justice, they look much better in person. The fit is great and I have room to spare, if I wanted to wear them with my jeans tucked in. Now I need a pair of sexy wide-calf high heeled boots!

The dress has a banded hem line, contour seaming, and a crew neckline. I love it and it only cost me $10!

I also love textured tights. You can't really tell from the pics but the pair I have on today are polka dots. I can remember growing up in Brooklyn and my mom making wear itchy wool tights, I hated them! But eventually everything comes back in style again.
Oh and I hope you guys like my new pet lizard...

Pretty in Pink part duex
Thursday, December 2, 2010
Today is the perfect day for my pink faux leather jacket. Faux leather has become so popular; you can get the same great look without spending all that cash. Let me just say pink is not something I would normal gravitate towards, but I loved all the details of this jacket. I am sucker for anything with ruffles so I had to have it. I completed my look with this great leopard print ombre scarf I got at Target.
